Deer Park and Lake - Hauz Khas, New Delhi.

I have been in Delhi for several decades now and have crossed the deer park from all sides hundreds of times. Even though the lake inside the park offers an opportunity for capturing a few birds through the camera, somehow I missed it. Only once I have been to the complex from the side that has some centuries old tombs. The prominent one is Feroz Shah's Tomb. Ferozshah was a dynast from the Tughlaq dynasty as ascended to the throne in 1351 and ruled the Delhi sultanate until 1388.

The parts of the park around the lake are green and clean but the other side around the deer park enclosures are dry , unkept and often filthy. (I am not going to show the unpleasant ey sores, but if you visit the park and want to see it in whole you should be surprised). I was surprised to a green net cover around the entire deer enclosure. It is wrapped around so that you don't see the deers 😬😡. I, however, managed to take some pictures from a very small window where that was not covered.

Here are some pictures of the Deer Park, Hauz Khas, New Delhi.
